FECKENHAM manager Lee Adams is hoping he will again be able to call on Evesham United loanee Jamie Bailey for Saturday's trip to lowly Highgate United.

The young forward had an impressive debut as an under-strength Feckenham came away from Castle Vale with a 3-1 win that saw them climb to seventh at the weekend.

Bailey created the first and third goals for Ryan Field and the roles were reversed with the newcomer opening his Millers account in between.

"I was without four players on Saturday and had a lot of kids in the side," said a delighted Adams. "Castle Vale isn't the best place to go because they can be quite an intimidating side and I felt before the game I would have been happy with a point."

Bailey was made available because Dave Busst's Evesham were without a match on Saturday. He will be missing for the visit of third-placed Alveston tonight (Wednesday, ko 7.30pm) because of his commitments with the Southern League, Premier Division side. But with United again without a fixture at the weekend, Adams is hoping to benefit.

The Millers lost the services of Andy Johnson at the weekend as the fit-again Studley striker was called-up for Midland Alliance duty.

Adams is hoping defender Justin Dankenbring will return on Saturday after a knee injury and left-back Mark Davis could also be fit after a hamstring problem. But teenage defender Adam McGloclan is ruled out with a one-week ban.

The manager said he was satisfied, if a little frustrated, with a point from last week's goalless draw at Southam.

"Southam will be disappointed not to have got three points because they had what I thought was a perfectly good goal disallowed right at the death," said Adams. "But we had played better and could have been two or three up so I suppose a result was a fair result."
