WHO says we live in an uncaring society? Well certainly not in Bromsgrove, as my wife and I sampled the caring and concern of the many complete strangers who came to our aid when my wife had a nasty fall, injuring her head and eye, in the precinct.
We were lucky to have the expert attention of an off duty A and E nurse who happened to be passing. Also the people who gave my wife tissues, brought her water to drink, phoned for an ambulance and the many who offered help, including the very young man who kindly offered to use his mobile phone to call the ambulance.
To all these wonderful people go our heartfelt thanks!
