Bromsgrove Rovers (1) 1 Bedworth United (1) 2
AN error-strewn display burst Rovers' bubble as organised Bedworth left the Victoria Ground with maximum points on Tuesday night.
Rovers, FA Cup heroes at the weekend after beating Hinckley, missed a host of chances to win the match.
Anthony Maguire had 20-yard lob just go over Bedworth's goal early on.
Goalkeeper Tim Clarke allowed Johnathan Douglas' tame shot to slip through his legs to hand Bedworth the lead in the eighth minute.
Scott Hadland smashed a powerful equaliser in the 23rd, after fine work down the right wing by Mark Danks and Maguire.
At the start of the second half Danks slotted wide of an open goal, before Douglas took advantage of slack Rovers defending to head in at the far post from a corner in 57th minute.
Rovers poured forward for an equaliser, but goalkeeper David Clarke saved with his legs from Danks and Banner was just too late arriving for the striker's low centre from the right.
