BARNT Green Spartak manager GJ Singh is hoping his side can recover from a traumatic run of results when they clash with Coleshill Town in the FA Vase second qualifying round on Saturday, October 1 at Lye Meadow (2.45pm kick off).
Spartak go into the national knockout competition in nervous form after they suffered a 6-1 defeat to Coventry Sphinx on September 21 and a 3-3 draw with Coleshill three days later.
Manager GJ Singh said: "It's been a tough week. Against Coventry I don't think that one single player matched their usual standards.
"We have conceded nine goals in two games so we go into the match a little more nervous."
Against Coventry Rob Sawyer's sending off for retaliation after an opposition tackle made sure ten men Spartak recorded their worst result in the Midland Combination Premier Division so far.
Against Coleshill an own goal put Barnt Green ahead, but their opponents hit back to go 2-1 up.
Taylor scored for Green, but Coleshill went ahead for a second time, only for Simon Pinfield to score late on.
Singh said: "I think Coleshill had their best chance to beat us on Saturday and they didn't take it. We will have to play a lot better, but I am confident."
Midfielders Emad Bouanane and Zahoor Suliman are set to miss the match becauseof injury.
