I HAVE recently spent 18 days in Hazel Ward of the Worcestershire Royal Hospital following a replacement hip operation.

In view of reports and letters appearing in your columns, I must say that I was somewhat apprehensive on entering the hospital, but my treatment and the kind attention that I received there was second to none. I have nothing but praise for all the staff.

They were always most attentive and cheerful, which was uplifting for me.The back-up services were also excellent, with the physiotherapists and occupational staff quickly getting me back on my feet again and enabling me to return home earlier than I had expected. My thanks to all concerned.

JOHN TURNER,

Worcester.
