ROBOTS is a truly fun animated film and gives the audience a wonderful opportunity to play spot the famous voice - a game which always provides me with hours of amusement.
A few of them to listen out for are Ewan McGregor, who plays the leading man/robot hero Rodney, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Mel Brooks, Robin Williams and Drew Carey, to name but a few.
Robots is a sort of coming of age film. Rodney decides he has to leave his provincial home and make his name in Robot City working for business genius Big.
Rodney's decision to move out into the big wide world is one met with concern on the part of his mother, Mrs Copperbottom, who believes he is too young and naive to make it.
The best part of Robots is the wonderful characters Rodney encounters during his journey of discovery.
The script writers have paid attention to even the most smallest of details, really bringing the hilarious little blighters to life.
This is a film which should appeal to the very young and the young at heart.
