WORCESTER Warriors have been linked with a summer move for loose-head prop Laurent Emmanuelli.
The 27-year-old is a key member of French side ASM Clermont Auvergne and was rumoured to have pencilled a three-year deal with Warriors.
However, Warriors' head coach Andy Keast has scotched speculation that the Sixways club have signed Emmanuelli.
Keast said: "He's a player we are looking at and we've been having talks with his agent.
"But you can imagine at this time of year we are talking to a lot of agents and a lot of players, so we'll just have to see how things go.
"When all deals are done and dusted, we will let everybody know. But at this stage there's nothing to be said.
"There are certain areas where we believe we need to strengthen the squad.
"What the numbers will be on that can vary from week to week.
"It's all about improvement. We want to bring in people who will improve the squad, not just add to what we've got."
