NEIL Mason has been handed a pizza the action as Worcester go for Euro glory.
The Sixways flanker, who was at one stage sent to Coventry this season on loan, has won a place in the side to face Leonessa tomorrow night (7.30pm).
Mason is pencilled in on the blindside as the Warriors go into the European Shield quarter-final second leg with a 32-6 advantage from last Friday's Sixways tie.
Worcester, who have no game next weekend because of their Powergen Cup exit, had hoped to play a full-strength team in Brescia but instead have to do without four players.
Thomas Lombard (shoulder), Dale Rasmussen (ribs) and Tim Collier (torn pectoral muscle) are all injured, while hooker Chris Hall is concussed.
With no way to add to their 34 registered players from the beginning of the season, Worcester's options are limited for the Italian leg.
The Sixways club openly admit that victory, and a probable semi-final against Leeds Tykes in April, will only give them more disruption as they fight for Premiership survival. However, they are in a no-win situation.
"We have to continue to improve the aspects of our game that we are working on," said head coach Andy Keast.
"We are training towards tomorrow's game and we want to see an improvement. We have to focus on performance."
"If we could, we would have picked our strongest team for tomorrow," added John Brain, Worcester's director of rugby.
"Where we've got slight injury worries over our front-line players -- such as Dale Rasmussen and Thomas Lombard -- we're not going to risk them, however.
"Certainly, Ben Hinshelwood and Gary Trueman need to play to put pressure on that duo."
Tony Windo is not included as the veteran loosehead is set to go under the knife.
Windo has a piece of glass embedded in his hand, which has become increasingly painful, but the ex-Gloucester man will make the visit to Kingsholm at the end of the month.
"It's affecting Tony when he's binding and it's just become a pain," added Brain. "Therefore, it's coming out. He'll train next week, though."
Team: Delport; Oduoza, Hinshelwood, Trueman, Roke; Brown, Powell; Sparks, Van Niekerk, Horsman, Murphy, Gillies, Mason, Sanderson, Hickey. Replacements: Fortey, Lyman, Gabey, MacLeod-Henderson, Cole, Hayes, O'Leary.
Worcester were today assured by ERC that the game would go ahead, despite concerns over weather conditions.
Temperatures are expected to dip below freezing in Brescia but ERC believe Leonessa have everything under control.
