WORCESTER Rugby Club's European Shield quarter-final first leg tie with Leonessa with be a Friday night affair at Sixways.
The Warriors have confirmed they will take on the Italians on January 7 before the away leg which is expected to be on Saturday, January 15.
Worcester are hoping to boost the attendance by attracting youngsters from other county clubs to Sixways. "We'll be visiting clubs around the county on Sunday as part of the Powergen National Community Programme," said Dan Zaltzman, Worcester's Community Development Manager.
Zaltzman, meanwhile, has decided to end his playing career. The 29-year-old lock, who had been playing for Pertemps Bees, said: "I'd gone as far as I could and wanted to put everything into my new role."
