BEN Hinshelwood wants Worcester to go all the way in the European Shield --the Warriors skipper, who is rested for today's second leg tie with Rovigo at Sixways, is keen to lift the title.

"We are definitely aiming to go all the way in the European Shield and try and win the title," said the Scottish international.

"It would be great for the club and tremendously valuable European experience.

"We are happy with the result of our first leg against Rugby Rovigo when we gave a lot of younger players their chance and many of them certainly put their hands up.

"Players like Saosi Vaili, Neil Mason and Neil Cole all performed really well on the day and that has to be good for Worcester.

"It means that more players now have the benefit of playing in Europe while it also gives the coaches different options and develops the strength in depth of the squad.

"We found Rugby Rovigo quite a physical side in the first leg but once we met that challenge we were able to play some decent rugby and score some fine tries."

Meanwhile, Ben Gollings has been drafted into England's Sevens squad because of Pat Sanderson's suspension.

Gollings, who left Sixways last month for family reasons, has bolstered the sevens squad in the wake of Sanderson's two-week ban and an injury to another England regular, Simon Amor.

England are in George, South Africa preparing to defend the Emirates Airline South Africa Sevens title which they won last year.

"It was a huge relief that Ben was able to join us in George," said coach Mike Friday.

"Ben was runner-up in the 2004 IRB Sevens Player of the Year and played very well for his invitation side in Dubai.

"He is a player who knows the England squad very well, has a wealth of experience and currently lies second in the all-time points scored table."
