UCHE O'Duza has lit up the Commonwealth Youth Games down under to come away with a silver medal.
Worcester Warriors' fledgling winger bagged a brace of tries in the games, based in Bendigo, Australia, to lead England into the semi-finals.
O'Duza touched down twice as England beat the Cook Islands 25-5 to follow up their unbeaten first day in the sevens tournament.
They defeated Singapore, Samoa and Australia on the opening day to finish top of their pool, looking odds-on to take the title.
Worcester's promising flanker Alex Rae was also involved in the squad.
England then saw off Samoa 19-15 in the semis to book a final place against Australia but they went down 26-24 to the hosts today with Rae sin-binned.
n Sixways' skipper Pat Sanderson and winger Paul Sampson have also been starring for England in the Dubai Sevens.
The Worcester duo have both been key figures in the showpiece event as England brushed aside Scotland, Uganda and France to finish day one on top of their pool.
Sanderson and Sampson both scored tries in the 35-7 victory over Uganda, Sampson even bagging a conversion, while they impressed in the 26-14 win over France.
England now tackle arch rivals Australia in the quarter-final.
