THREE players from Wor-cester Rugby Club Ladies have been chosen to represent their country ahead of two international matches.
Number nine Joanne Yapp and wingers Kim Shaylor and Nicky Crawford have all been named in the England squad for games against Canada at Richmond tomorrow and at Newbury next Wednesday.
The trio's selection has kept up the tradition of Worcester players earning international call-ups.
Ladies section chairman Niall Crawford said: "It's something we have got quite a good record at, and to get three in is superb."
Fellow Worcester stars Kat Merchant and Kerry Barber have also been named in a 44-player squad from which England 'A' and 'B' sides will be picked.
meanwhile, North Midlands Under 19 players will have a final chance to impress the U20 selectors when they play their final match of the season against Yorkshire at Goole tomorrow.
The match is the last before the squad is named for the friendly against Cheshire at Newport on December 12.
