AUSTRALIA have rung the changes for tomorrow's match at New Road -- with several key names omitted.

Glenn McGrath and Brett Lee, the opening bowlers in the 239-run first npower Test victory over England at Lord's, are absent along with spin wizard Shane Warne.

Stuart MacGill deputises for Warne, while pacemen Michael Kasprowicz and Shaun Tait team up with Jason Gillespie.

Kasprowicz, an effective bowler in English conditions, lost his place to Lee at Lord's but has been consistent over the last 18 months.

Exciting young prospect Tait, 22, took 65 Pura Cup wickets during the last Australian domestic season.

Other changes to Australia's side see Adam Gilchrist making way for reserve wicket-keeper Brad Haddin and batsman Brad Hodge stepping in to replace Damien Martyn.

Captain Ricky Ponting leads his country at New Road and recognised opening pair Justin Langer and Matthew Hayden front the batting.

Due to poor weather, Australia cancelled practice sessions at New Road yesterday and today.

Team: Ponting, Hayden, Langer, Katich, Hodge, Clarke, Haddin, Gillespie, Kasprowicz, Tait, MacGill.
