STEVE Rhodes has called on his Worcestershire troops to slay Glamorgan and end their mediocre Twenty20 Cup campaign on a positive note.
The Dragons visit New Road today (5.30pm) for a fixture that determines who finishes bottom of the Midlands/West/Wales division.
Glamorgan currently prop up the six-team group, despite a crushing 10-wicket win over Gloucestershire yesterday, while the Royals lie fifth.
The County's distant hopes of qualifying for the quarter-finals took a setback following last night's abandonment at leaders Northamptonshire.
"We've got to go out there tonight looking to win -- and to win well," said Rhodes. "There is a technicality that if we win and five or six other results go our way, we could sneak into the quarter-finals.
"It is a long-shot and it would be amazing if it happened, but we've got to have a go. The most important thing is that we put on a good show in front of a packed home crowd."
A single change is made from yesterday's side with fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar brought back to replace David Wigley.
Supporters who purchased tickets for yesterday's match at Northants can receive a refund by sending a letter with the original ticket to Lee Addington at Northamptonshire CCC.
