KABIR Ali will lead the Wor-cestershire attack at North-ampton tonight as the County aim to salvage some pride in the Twenty20 Cup.
The pace bowler is expected to be available for the remainder of Worcestershire's season following his omission from England's 14-man NatWest Challenge squad.
Kabir was left out of the three one-day internationals with Australia after failing to make an appearance in the triangular NatWest series.
He makes way for Sussex wicketkeeper Matt Prior, who is seen as an ideal candidate to become the first tactical substitute, a role created under new regulations.
Worcestershire captain Vik-ram Solanki keeps his England place despite a limited showing in the NatWest series.
Kabir steps in against North-amptonshire to replace Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar, who is being restricted to home Twenty20 fixtures, while all-rounder Daryl Mitchell moves aside for David Wigley.
