MARK Gabey stepped up his comeback from injury last night, playing 60 minutes for Worcester Warriors' 'A' team.
The utility forward, who underwent a knee operation in the summer, came through the game unscathed as Worcester went down 22-13 to Leicester Tigers at Sixways.
Full-back Duncan Roke also played a full part in the match and looked closer to his old self alongside a youthful looking 'A' team.
Samoan Siaosi Vaili bagged another try -- his third in two games for the reserve side -- while Jon Higgins kicked a conversion and two penalties in the defeat to a strong-looking Leicester.
"It was a good, spirited performance from the lads," said 'A' team manager Billy McGinty.
"There were a number of positives from the night. Mark Gabey did well, it was a good return from him while Duncan Roke looked more confident and is getting back to where he was.
"Certainly, we were very pleased to see Mark back from injury and that is a big plus.
"We were in the game up until the end where Leicester scored a last minute try."
