CHAD Keegan finished the game in style as Middlesex maintained their unbeaten record in the totesport League Division One with a three-wicket win over Wor-cestershire at Lord's.

With seven needed off five balls Keegan hit Sri Lankan test bowler Chaminda Vaas for a four, a two and a six as the hosts overhauled Worcestershire's 201 for seven with two balls to spare.

Worcestershire were indebted to David Leatherdale, their veteran all-rounder, who got them up to a decent total with an innings of 72 not out made from 82 balls with seven fours and a six.

Leatherdale arrived with the Royals on 83 for four and was there at the end to get his side past 200.

Middlesex looked to have the run chase under control at 104 for no wicket but Paul Weekes (62) was out sweeping and a further five dismissals followed for another 39 runs in 12 overs.

Most of the wickets were down to poor decision making.

Earlier, Graeme Hick be-came the heaviest scorer in the history of the competition, beating Kim Barnett's mark of 9,002 runs, before he holed out at square leg for 29.
