A CHOCOHOLIC is whetting her appetite for a mouthwatering challenge - tucking into a giant dish of tasty profiteroles.

But Tricia Cavell, the fund-raising manager at St Richard's Hospice, is not just satisfying her desire for chocolate - she is undertaking the gargantuan task for a good cause.

She is hoping to eat an astounding 48oz of the lightweight desserts in a bid to raise money for the Worcester-based charity.

And if she manages to demolish the lot she will also earn her place in the exclusive Piggies Dining Club.

The club started out in Worcester as a group of like-minded friends who sought big eating experiences.

Tricia said: "I adore chocolate and think polishing off a plate of profiteroles will be a delicious way of spending an evening. It's a big task, but I think I'm ready for it!"

The Piggies initiation will take place on Thursday, September 29, at epic' in New Street where Graham Brookes, of Brookes Catering of Worcester, is making Tricia a profiterole pile especially for the occasion.

Building work has recently started on the new St Richard's Hospice near County Hall, Worcester, and campaigners are working to raise the remaining £350,000 needed to complete the Building Beds Together campaign.
