BUDDING detectives will be putting on their Sherlock Holmes deerstalkers to investigate a 'crime scene' in Upton.
The sleuthing exercise is part of an event to help youngsters and their parents recognise dangerous situations and protect themselves from crime.
There will also be the opportunity for youngsters to find out essential safety information.
Robee the talking car will be chatting away to children and answering lots of questions about road safety.
And skateboard ramps will be set up behind the memorial hall and youngsters can bring their safety helmets along to design a pattern on them.
The Together In Safety event has bee organised by the Malvern Hills Community Safety Partnership and is due to take place in the town's Memorial Hall on Saturday, October 1.
Jenny Lawrence, community safety manager at Malvern Hills District Council, said: "Although the day is going to be fun for all the family, there's a more serious message behind it.
"There will be plenty of opportunities for people to get information from our street scene wardens, Neighbourhood Watch and the police."
West Mercia Constabulary will also be on hand with details of technology to protect property from thieves.
