AN exhibition of work by Malvern artist Malcolm Victory opened this week at Worcester Arts Workshop.

The exhibition, which is on until October 13, is intended to show how his techniques, concepts and ideas have changed over 30 years.

Mr Victory's work has always been varied, ranging from intricate pencil portraits to impressionist oil paintings, and from gloss paintings of bar codes to tender watercolours of his children.

Owners of his work include Lord David Puttnam, Lady Thatcher, the late Sir John Gielgud and Patrick Moore.

He has worked as a screen printer, graphic artist, draughtsman, designer, inventor and illustrator.

This year he was elected to the Malvern Society of Artists and he is a founder member of the International Association of Colour.
