A MALVERN firm has increased its production space by more than 50 per cent.
The Coaster Company has taken over a unit next to its existing plant in Spring Lane North and got rid of a small unit in Spring Court.
The expansion is due to the success of the firm's Platinum Award-winning FunMats school fundraising initiative, plus new contracts for the making souvenirs and promotional products.
The new unit has eliminated split-site working, improved the workflow and enabled the company to separate dusty and non-dusty processes. A new product for the company is a range of glass kitchen-boards with laminated backing.
FunMats manager Di Monie said: "There's considerable interest in the new product, particularly from previous customers who see it as a potentially very profitable addition to the range."
