More than 200 Morgan three-wheelers are expected in Malvern this weekend for the diamond jubilee of the owners' club.
The celebrations were due to kick-off yesterday (Thursday), with a gymkhana at Castlemorton for members, followed by a civic reception last night hosted by Malvern Hills District Council chairman Val Myatt.
Today (Friday), club members will drive to Stoke Lacy, one-time home of the Morgan family. There will be a barn dance at The Chase high school, Malvern, tonight.
Tomorrow will see a gathering of all the three-wheelers at the Abbey Hotel, followed by an evening meal with speakers. On Sunday, the club will hold its annual general meeting, also at the Abbey Hotel.
n Top Tory Sir Malcolm Rifkind will visit Morgan next week. The shadow minister for work and pensions, and a leadership contender, will be at the Pickersleigh Road factory on Wednesday (September 28).
