YOUNG engineers from Malvern won an award for their skills at a national gathering.
The club was one of one of only six from across the UK selected to take part in the Young Engineers' Celebration of Engineering in London last week.
The group's leader, Judy Thomas, plus students Ben Thomas, Luke Thomas, Ben Barnes and Richard Thomas, went to the old naval college at Greenwich for the event.
They exhibited three designs - a collapsible wooden bandstand, wooden footbridge and an automatic cat-trap that was a commission from Cats' Protection.
"The students won an award for craftsmanship," said Judy Thomas. "It's especially good because we're about the only community-based Young Engineers group; all the others are based at individual schools."
