NEW changing rooms at Malvern Rugby Club's Spring Lane pavilion were officially opened at the weekend.
Doing the honours at Saturday's ceremony was The Lord Gretton, one of the club's patrons.
The extension provides changing facilities for the women's teams that now play at the club.
Dave Robbins, of Malvern RFC, said the club was the first in the Midlands to be given the RFU's community award and the new extension was the first step in improving its facilities.
"The members put in a lot of hours labouring over the summer to help get it built," he said. "We don't have much money, but the members' enthusiasm more than makes up for that."
