BROMSGROVE Rovers have more than one reason to crave victory in tomorrow's FA Cup second qualifying round clash with Hinckley United (3pm).
Despite the best part of £4,000 awaiting the winners at the Victoria Ground, Rovers go into the game knowing they almost went all the way to the first round proper following their last win at this stage.
Two years ago, the side won 2-0 at Hednesford Town before eventually losing a replay at Whitby Town two rounds later with a first round berth at stake.
Prior to that campaign, Rovers were beaten twice in the second qualifying round by Tamworth in successive seasons and were dumped at the first hurdle by Shirebrook Town last term.
And current boss Jimmy Mullen is under no illusions as to the importance of tomorrow's tie against the Nationwide North outfit.
He said: "It's a massive game for us because we are playing opposition two levels above us. The incentive is there for all to see. I know for a fact everyone is looking forward to the game."
Rovers go into the match on the back of a 2-1 Southern League Cup mid-week win over Stourport Swifts and a 2-0 home Division One West success against Burnham.
Hinckley sit 10 places above Worcester City in Nationwide North.
Mullen said: "Just recently we have played very well and I felt it could have been a little bit more emphatic on Saturday. Our approach play is very good and I am sure if we continue in that manner the goals will come."
Rovers, who defeated Bourne Town and Newcastle Town in the previous rounds, have defender Matt Johnson suspended but Matthew Barnes-Homer is available after a trial with Coca-Cola League Two Chester City.
Tim Clarke and Lee Evans vie for the goalkeeper's jersey, while midfielder Riad Erraji has joined Rushall.
