ADVENTURE seekers are needed to take part in a charity trek in South Africa, which will include a trip to Seal Island.
Acorns Chilldren's Hospice in Worcester is running the nine-day Cape Challenge from March 11 to 20, 2006.
Trekkers will walk through the countryside, climb Table Mountain, hike to the Maltese Cross and visit Seal Island.
Money raised will go to help Acorns to continue to provide vital services to life-limited children in the region, including Wyre Forest, and support for their families.
Laura Thompson, Acorns' International Trek Officer said: "September is the month when many people start to think about next year's summer holidays. We're asking them to consider doing something very different to their normal activity by taking part in the Cape Challenge.
"The Cape Challenge will be a marvellous opportunity to explore South Africa's beautiful countryside and a great way of meeting new people. It promises to be an amazing experience and the sponsorship raised will make a real difference to the children and families we care for."
To take part in the trek, volunteers will need to raise £3,250 in sponsorship and will be supported by Acorns.
Each participant will receive a personal fund-raising adviser, be able to attend a fund-raising workshop and receive an A to Z guide book.
Anyone interested in taking the Cape Challenge can contact Laura on 0121 2484802.
