A KIDDERMINSTER boat manufacturing company has unveiled its latest vessel.
Sealine International, which employs 700 people in Wyre Forest, launched its new T50 model at this week's Southampton Boat Show.
A spokeswoman for the company told the Shuttle/Times & News the boat had been "very well received" at the show and its success could boost employment in the district.
She said: "We are always looking to add to the workforce and the success of the company means there could be opportunities for more employment as we continue to grow and prosper."
The "luxury motor yacht" was designed and built at the company's Kidderminster's headquarters in Whitehouse Road.
The new "fifty footer", which replaces the award-winning T47 model, will retail at about £520,000.
It includes a full beam master cabin, equal status guest accommodation, a third Pullman cabin, crew quarters and two separate toilet and shower compartments.
For entertaining, the boat boasts a saloon, a centrally located bar and galley with seating, barbecue and wet bar.
It also incorporates new hull technology that "increases propeller efficiency and reduces water resistance, resulting in a smooth and stable ride".
Managing director Patrik von Sydow said: "The T50 is the culmination of strengths found across the Sealine range, with the addition of unique features to address customer demands, which remains the key driver in our product development."
