A VISIT from a children's storybook favourite and from famous faces in a psychological thriller is entertaining all the family at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre next week.

The Gruffalo is adapted from the award-winning book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and is presented by acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories, which has performed it in the West End, on Broadway and all over the world.

Mouse in on a hunt for hazelnuts in the woods and scares off the hungry fox, owl and snake with stories of an imaginary monster friend, The Gruffalo. But what happens when he comes face to face with the creature in his mind?

It runs from September 30 to October 2 and then, after the littlest in the family have enjoyed seeing their favourite book brought to life, older family members can return to the theatre to see Framed, an edge-of-your-seat thriller starring former EastEnder Lucy Benjamin, Casualty stars Robert Gwilym and Vincenzo Pellegrino and another TV face, Sarah Berger.

The story is about Judy, who thinks she has met her Mr Perfect via internet dating, after escaping her villainous ex-husband, but a romantic weekend to a remote Norfolk cottage causes her to wonder if he told the whole truth on his profile. Book for either show on 01242 572573.
