AN extra special guide dog who changed the life of a Stourport woman has been hailed the best in Wyre Forest.
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association "highly commended" Bradley's work after owner, Vicky Sadler, nominated him for the prestigious title.
The "exceptional" white Labrador, who has been with Mrs Sadler for three years, has been specially trained to stay by her side when she suffers mild epileptic fits.
The 45-year-old, who lives in Stourport, described the dog as her "best friend in the world".
She added: "Since we have been a partnership Bradley has brought laughter and joy, but, most of all, he brings love. I can't explain how much he has changed my life and helped me.
"He makes me feel so relaxed when I am working and is so patient.
"There is a perfect bond between us.
"I was only diagnosed with epilepsy in March this year and he even picked my spirits up then because he was waiting outside for me after I had my scan."
Steve Billington, spokesman for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, said: "Every dog is a winner to their owner, giving them vital independence and freedom.
"However, we wanted to go one step further and recognise some truly special achievements and partnerships."
