STOURPORT Boat Club's Ashley Price and Lewis Beech did their club and country proud when they represented Great Britain this summer.
Price, 18, competed in the 'Coup de la Juneusse' European Champi-onships at Dorney Lake, Eton.
In his single scull he brought home two gold medals to cap a great season in which he also claimed a silver medal in the junior 18 single sculls at the national championships.
Price represented Britain at the home countries regatta and is now preparing to join Oxford Brookes University where he hopes to break into the senior ranks with their highly successful boat club.
Beech, 17, was one of only five scullers selected to represent Britain at the World Junior Championships at Brandenburg, Germany.
He helped the men's quadruple sculls crew to their best position in 12 years, finishing fifth from a strong field in the "A" final.
Beech was also influential as the same crew won gold at the national championships, silver at the Munich junior international and reached the final of the Henley Royal Regatta.
Lewis still has another year remaining as a junior in which he hopes to return to the world junior regatta.
Coach Tim Dorrell said he was proud of both athletes.
