THE Amazing Feet Running Club's Anne Rendall completed her first half marathon on Sunday, when she joined 50,000 runners in the Great North Run. She completed the 13.1-mile course from Newcastle to South Shields in two hours 30 minutes 51 seconds, to finish in 25,200th position.
Simon Gregg led the Feet athletes in 1-58-26 for 8,168th place.
On the same day, but in cooler conditions, Craig Bone ran 1-32-51 at the Ledbury Chase, a 13-mile multi-terrain event. His time earned him 19th position of the 82 finishers, and he was sixth M40.
Rob Middleton recorded 1-40-21 for 33rd place, with David Pye 43rd in 1-42-43.
The previous week Chrissie Smith came 730th and third F55 out of 1,288 runners in the Lake Vyrnwy half-marathon. David and Jane Pye finished together in the RNLI Castlemartin eight-mile event in Pembrokeshire, in 1-7-35.Craig Lewis came 42nd in 1-14-2, and Sarah Lewis 108th in 1-40-7 at the World Masters open category fell race in Keswick.
