THE sounds of Africa in instrument, song and dance will be coming to Evesham.
The Vale of Evesham Christian Centre is presenting an exciting evening with The Pearl of Africa Children's choir.
The choir will be appearing live at 7pm on Saturday, September 24 at the Evesham high school on Four Pools Lane.
The choir who come from Kampala and Kamuzinda Children's village in Uganda, East Africa and comprises 20 orphaned or once destitute children ranging from seven to 17.
The children's choir formed several years ago by Molly and Paul Wassa founders of the Molly and Paul Child Care Foundation in Kampala.
This year the choir is raising funds for two schools in Kampala and the children's village in Kamuzinda, where children are housed with a housemother to look after them.
Many of the original children's homes have now been refurbished but each home is meant to house 12 children now houses 18 children.
The choir hopes the concert will help raise funds to help refurbish more homes and help the Pearl of Africa Children's choir centre.
