MEASURES to reduce the impact of juggernaut lorries on the roads in the Vale have been identified as a priority for the Evesham and Pershore areas.
Now local residents will have a chance to put their own views as Worcestershire County Council prepares its second local transport plan (LTP2).
An online questionnaire will be available from September 26 to allow local residents to have their own say and a meeting will be held in Pershore on October 6.
Cllr John Smith, cabinet member for Environment said: "It is important that local people feed back to the County Council on this provisional document.
"Transport around the county is of paramount importance to all residents and this is a real chance for people to make sure we have properly considered transport issues in the county.
"We are interested in hearing the views of people with all types of interests in transport: car drivers, lorry drivers, train and bus users, pedestrians and cyclists.
"People who are unable to attend the workshops can always give us their views over the world wide web."
The provisional LTP2 highlights how the County Council plans to tackle the four shared priorities for transport agreed between local and central government - improving access to essential services, better air quality, safer roads and tackling congestion.
When it is completed the plan, which covers the next five years, will be submitted to government in March next year. Any comments should therefore be sent to the County Council by the end of October.
