SOCIAL secretary Edna Plimley-Rodriguez arranged an outing to Stratford and Hatton in August. At the September meeting she reported on the federation luncheon at the Mill Hotel, Alveley, and the presentation of Bewdley guild's sundial, in Bewdley Museum garden.
Don Bibby talked about his trek from the source of the River Severn to Gloucester, and he judged the competition, which was won by Audrey Spells.
The harvest lunch at St Ambrose Church hall, Kidderminster, will be on October 11, from 10.15am.
An open day is planned for the November 8 meeting, also at St Ambrose Church hall. There will be craft and jewellery stands, and a guest speaker. All women in the community are invited to go along to the 19th anniversary of the Kidderminster guild, which meets every second Tuesday of the month at 10.15am.
