SUPERMARKET chain Netto was due to open its new store in Kidderminster today creating at least 15 new jobs.
The store follows Netto's acquisition of a site at the junction of Stourport Road and New Road. Wilson Pet Centres, which is a neighbour on the New Road site, will remain trading as normal.
Netto has reached the final stages of refurbishments including a new shop fit, external cladding, new signs and car park lighting.
Claus Wdeled, managing director at Netto UK, said: "Value retailing has really come of age in the UK with more people seeking the best quality at the lowest prices which is what our new store will bring to Kidderminster."
"Our Smart Shopping philosophy helps customers make best use of their time and their money by concentrating on delivering the lowest possible price on the best quality goods.
"On average, a shopping basket of Netto's own-brand and branded goods is 20 per cent cheaper than its rivals. What we offer is no frills and lower bills."
