The prodigous six-year-old finished second after two rounds at St Andrews in the HSBC Wee Wonders Grand Final last week.
In the first nine-hole round Alexander hit 42. However, he bounced back in style with a round of 35 on the second day.
Mother Debbie Cox said: "He was up against some really good players and was brilliant."
