STUDLEY came from behind in an 11-goal thriller to beat visitors Leamington Lions 6-5.
Goals from Sam Tayler and Allison Thorpe hauled the home side back into contention only for the Lions to net again soon after.
Sarah Bird levelled before the break following excellent work from star player Helen Clancy.
Leamington scored again at the start of the second half but Bird bagged her second before Tayler handed Studley the lead for the first time.
Clancy then gave the home side a two-goal cushion with the Lions having the final say with a goal almost on the final whistle.
Studley's captain, Sarah Robinson, drove the play from the defence and new keeper Sam Lewis made a number of good save.
n Redditch VC romped to a convincing 9-1 victory at home to Hinton Ladies.
Jenny Worthington opened the scoring before Nat Lawrence hit the crossbar.
VC were in control but Hinton broke and equalised, a goal that forced the home side to raise their tempo.
Worthington soon completed her hat-trick with Tara Cook adding a fourth before the break.
Cook and Jenna Dedicoate struck twice in the second half with Lawrence rounding things off.
n Headless Cross slumped to a 5-3 defeat at Cannock, the visitors finding the net through Teresa Boddington's double and a Mandy Ellicott penalty after she had been brought down.
