Old Halesonians U15s 7 Droitwich U15s 42
DROITWICH made a winning start to the season by seeing off a determined Old Halesonians side on Sunday.
Matt Thorneycroft, making his debut for the under-15s, opened the scoring for Droitwich.
Luke Harris grabbed the second, before Calum Kinghorn bagged Spa's third.
Harry Baille then rubbed more salt in Halesonian's wounds when he touched down just before half time to give Droitwich a comfortable lead.
Determined Old Hales restricted spa for the opening 15 minutes of the second half.
But Jack Pomroy opened the floodgates when he scored underneath the posts.
Captain Tom Stedman then added his name to the score sheet with Droitwich's final touch down.
Bobbie Scott-walker was also deadly with the boot, converting all six attempts
Pomroy and Scott-Walker shared the man of the match award.
