WOULD it be insensitive of me to say I have had a wonderful week?
It started with the 'Old Folks' trip to Shrewsbury. Here we must say 'Thank you' to the wonderful volunteers, who assisted with the boarding on/off of the coach, and making our way to the gardens.
To our delight we were greeted by the town's Lord Mayor who, after a few pleasantries, was asked - 'Where is the best place to eat?'.
Everyone we met was helpful and cheerful. Isn't that wonderful? Plus yesterday sitting in Cannon Hill Park, didn't I recognise a presenter on BBC Two, and have one second of glory?
What a week!
