THERE'S new name on the annual Parish Games angling trophy after three members of one family won the event staged on the River Avon last Saturday.
Fourteen teams were in competition with Sedgeberrow the overall winners ahead of Evesham North, Cropthorne and Crowle.
The individual winner was Cropthorne's Nigel Groom who got the better of Brian Bennett (Evesham North), Pinvin's Stuart Thompson and Tony Warley (Crowle).
The last of the one-day events in the 2005 competition will see the junior and senior table tennis taking place at Evesham High School on Sunday, October 2.
