PLANS to build two new houses on land off Feckenham Road in Headless Cross were withdrawn before Redditch councillors could turn them down.
The proposals inc-luded converting a games hall into a bungalow and erecting a house on land behind 92A Feckenham Road.
In a report put before councillors last week, officers recommended refusal on grounds that the development would be detrimental to the area's character and appearance.
The plans had rec-eived 13 letters of objection concerning invasion of privacy, drainage problems and traffic congestion.
