A KIDDERMINSTER company is riding on the crest of a wave after releasing its latest luxury yacht.

Sealine International is already near the top of a very buoyant market and is hoping to add to its success after unveiling the T50 at the Southampton Boat Show.

The £520,000 '50 footer' bears the design hallmarks of the company's T60 flagship, while incorporating a state-of-the-art new hull created by leading designer Ocke Mannerfelt and the Sealine in-house design team.

It has been made by the firm's 560-strong workforce at their new 59,000sq ft premises on Hartlebury Industrial Estate.

For those interested in the technological details, the latest one comes with a variety of engine options, which are expected to offer top speeds of around 30 to 33 knots.

Replacing the award winning T47, light and space are the key features of this luxurious flybridge cruiser.

There is a full beam master cabin, equal status guest accommodation, a third Pullman cabin and crew quarters, and two separate toilet and shower compartments.

There is a centrally-located galley and bar ideally suited for entertaining both on deck and in the dining area.

Complete with an exclusive range of fabrics and furnishings, the T50 uses materials such as Corian worktops, Wenge wood flooring, and pear wood furniture.

Patrik von Sydow, managing director of Sealine Intern- ational, is confident the yacht will have a great impact: "This represents another step forward for Sealine International, combining new levels of functionality with refined styling.

"The T50 is the culmination of strengths found across the Sealine range, with the addition of unique features to address customer demands, which remains the key driver in our product development."

In addition to the new T50, Sealine will be exhibiting its full range of boats at the Southampton Boat Show, which runs until Sunday, September 25.

The company has an annual turnover of £50m and produces more than 350 yachts a year.
