THE expansion of Kidderminster's biggest pet superstore is finished.
Wilsons Pet Centre on New Road, has added more than 3,000 sq ft of space to its existing 5,000 sq ft store, taking in part of a neighbouring building previously occupied by Somerfield.
It will become the flagship outlet for pet specialist Wilsons, which operates nine stores across the region.
As well as creating a centre of excellence for pet advice, products and services, the branch now features an in-store grooming centre and a huge extension to the aquatics department.
Stuart Lane, manager of the 20-strong workforce, said: "Building work has gone really well. We're now in a position to stock even more specialist foods, accessories and cages and the extra space means we will be able to stage more school visits and in-store demonstrations.
"We're also planning to open a special pet behaviour advice centre and our aim is to offer both pets and their owners the best possible service."
