A HUNT End woman who suffered from breast cancer in her twenties has teamed up with a business partner to help other young sufferers from Redditch and Bromsgrove.
Cheryl Jalloh and Stourbridge woman Leslie Plant decided to launch mobile mastectomy wear business, Che-Les, after they met in hospital.
Mrs Jalloh said after undergoing a mastectomy four years ago at the age of 25 she realised there was a gap in the market.
"I couldn't find any pretty underwear that was suitable for somebody of my age," said Mrs Jalloh.
"The mastectomy bras sold in lingerie shops all seemed very basic and unfashionable."
After meeting fellow young breast cancer sufferer Miss Plant at the Alexandra Hospital's breast care support group, Mrs Jalloh realised she was not alone in her concerns.
In addition to selling mastectomy wear, Che-Les also offers a personalised door-to-door bra-fitting service.
The business partners are happy to travel to people's homes and are at the Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove on Wednesdays from 1-3pm.
For more information about Che-Les or to book a visit, call Cheryl Jalloh on 541990.
