LOVE for lonely Edna has still not materialised, despite the Worcester News' campaign to find her a man.
The 83-year-old's family put lonely heart adverts in shop windows and newspapers, but no Romeo has appeared.
Edna Roberts is tired of being alone after a divorce 18 years ago and wants a man by her side.
"It would be lovely to meet somebody, but I want it to be a regular thing," she said.
The majority of men who have responded to the ads have lived too far away to see Edna as frequently as she would like.
Her ideal man would be between 70 and 80 years old, live in the area and have a car so that he can come to visit her frequently.
The qualities she looks for are kindness, consideration and a good sense of humour.
Anyone who is interested in contacting Edna can call reporter Kate Yates on 01905 742258, or write to Kate at Worcester News, Hylton Road, Worcester, WR2 5JX.
