DROITWICH track star Matt Neal is still on course to win the British Touring Car Championship despite failing to win any of the three races at Silverstone.
Neal's closest challenger, Vauxhall's Yvan Muller, kept his title dream alive as three drivers shared the race wins.
Honda ace Tom Chilton won the first race as Seat's Jason Plato was disqualified from his victory in race two, handing the honours to team-mate Luke Hines, who took his first win of the season.
Gareth Howell claimed his maiden British touring car victory as he won the third and final race in his Honda.
Now the championship battle will go down to the wire as 30 points separate series leader Neal, in his Team Halford's Honda Integra, from Muller heading into the final round at Brands Hatch next month.
Muller had earlier closed the gap on Neal in the first race after finishing fourth as Neal could only manage ninth.
Winner Plato was then disqualified in race two after officials reviewed an incident between him and Chilton.
He has also been handed four points on his competition licence and will be handed a six-place grid penalty at Brands Hatch.
Neal extended his advantage once again over Muller after inheriting fourth position as Muller failed to finish with mechanical problems.
But the Frenchman ended up fifth in the final race as Neal could only manage seventh, leaving the final round to be the title decider.
