DYSON Perrins High School's new headteacher has spoke of his satisfaction of the opening days of his reign at the Malvern school.
David Griffin said: "The students are superb, the staff dedicated and it's known as a caring school."
He said he was delighted to be offered the top job at the 980-pupil school after the retirement of Peter Buchanan, and added that he was looking forward to the new challenges.
The former teacher at Worcester's Nunnery Wood added that it was the students that made his job something special.
"The students are unbelievable," he said. "They're so polite and charming, and the staff have made me feel most welcome."
