THE car park and road system around Worcestershire Royal Hospital is to be improved to accommodate the new park-and-ride buses.
An application has been submitted to Worcester City Council to the changes, which include additional spaces around the south car park and a road link so patients and hospital staff can avoid traffic.
The hospital's car park will be used as a bus terminal at weekends and the additional spaces and road access will ensure staff and visitors can park onsite and buses can move freely.
City planning officers will now consider the proposals.
