SHOW-STOPPING hits from the musical Porgy and Bess feature in a concert performance at Malvern Theatres.
Black American voices from the famous New York production will sing memorable hits like Summertime, I loves you Porgy and It Ain't Necessarily So in a spectacular, costumed concert performance of hits from the musical.
The New York production of Porgy and Bess has visited more than 500 cities in six continents in the last 14 years, but this is the first time the company has visited the UK.
Porgy and Bess, by George and Ira Gershwin, is an enduringly popular black American folk opera, full of drama and romance. It has been delighting audiences for more than 60 years.
The show will be performed by a company of 14 voices and a 15-piece orchestra for one night only at the Forum Theatre on Friday, September 23. For more information or tickets, contact the box office on 01684 892277.
