A 200-strong choir is set to perform to a packed house this weekend for at a charity concert at Worcester Cathedral in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
The event, at the Cathedral on Saturday, September 17, marks the Rotary Club movement's 100th anniversary.
Organisers hope it will raise about £6,000 towards a special suite at the proposed new £5.25m hospice in Spetchley, Worcester.
The musical extravaganza is being arranged by the rotary clubs of Worcester, Worcester South, Worcester Severn and Worcester Wychavon.
It will see the Combined Male Voice Police Choirs of Derbyshire, Gloucestershire, Hereford and Shrewsbury join forces to perform a varied programme of music.
Worcester Rotary Club president David Inight said it had proved immensely popular, with tickets now sold out. A total of about 800 people are now set to fill the Cathedral for the concert, with extra seats having had to be installed to accommodate everyone.
Mr Inight said: "We looked around because we wanted to to do something to mark our anniversary and we couldn't think of anything better thatn helping the hospice.
"It'll be great concert. It's been a big job organising it but we're hoping it'll raise lots of money for our cause."
